Natural Gas Liquid (NGL) Fractionation
NGL must be separated into marketable products. AEMS engineers use the most advanced and economical designs for the required fractionation columns. Fluctuations in feedstock quantity and quality are taken into consideration to allow for a wide range of operating parameters. Heat pumped splitters and other innovative solutions are often provided depending on the application.

Cryogenic plants – We can manufacture the most efficient design in the industry. We’ll design to meet your operating conditions, allowing operators to control recoveries based on current commercial considerations. We can build plants capable of processing between 40 and 200 MMscfd.
Amine gas treating plants – ALLIED’s amine treating plants provide continuous reliable results keeping you and your customer on spec. Each system can be designed to fit your needs or can be one of our standard modular designs. We will work to meet your needs. Our typical plants are designed between 60 and 1,000 gpm. These units are available with trayed or packed towers. They also come with a pre-installed instrumentation package that is prewired to skid edge to help make sure you get your project completed on schedule.
Joule-Thomson (J-T) plants – JT plant designs manufactured by Allied Equipment required less capital to operate than the standard plant resulting in lower cost. They are built to exact customer requirements and meet the strict ASME and BBI code.
Fractionator distillation equipment – Implementing the latest technology, Allied Equipment can design and build the highest quality fractionation equipment. Designing in compliance with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) & the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NBBI), our expert engineers will meet your design specifications
Refrigerated (JT) Plants
JT plants are economically designed for gas liquids recovery. These are simple systems to cool the gas to meet a dewpoint specification. JT plants are an economical choice for rich gas applications as, frequently, no residue compression is required. These may be used as a quick solution to gas liquids recovery while a larger plant is being constructed. AEMS employs the use of different technologies to ensure the appropriate level of hydrocarbon dewpoint controlling, such as a JT plant or a MRU plant. Hydrocarbon dewpoint control is critical for transmission pipelines.
Condensate Stabilizer by Allied Equipment
Condensate stabilization equipment – Whether you need simple fabrication or design, build, install & operate, ALLIED does it. Our stabilizers range from 2,000 bpd to 50,000 bpd and use either trayed or packed distillation towers. Our modular systems include a pre-installed instrumentation package ready to bring on-line with its own PLC. This simplifies the installation process & reduces the time required to bring your plant on-line.

Inlet Liquid Handling and Condensate Stabilization
While usually provided as part of our gas processing plants, inlet liquid handling has become a significant area of technology specialization, often on a standalone basis. Azota designs and installs slug catchers to exacting specifications for the removal of liquids.
CNG storage spheres – Allied Equipment designs and manufactures CNG storage spheres ranging from 5,500 to 10,000 PSI. We offer spheres that are 5 feet wide in outer diameter, giving us an advantage over a large variety of installation configurations, including our patented stackable design.
